(Cincinnati) Legislators in Ohio are picking up reigns where Kentucky lawmakers failed to pass legislation that would move the  Brent Spence Bridge project forward speaking with 700WLW's Bill Cunningham 8th District Ohio State Senator Bill Seitz said a bill is being introduced in the Ohio General Assembly.

"In Ohio we need language that provides for the automated electronic collection of any tolls that may be imposed," said Senator Seitz, "if we don't have that bill, we're going to have traffic backed up to Lima"

Seitz says nothing in the bill establishes tolls on the new I-75 bridge, but rather allows for them to be there if needed and how they are to be operated. However, Seitz did say it is likely tolls will end up being part of the plan because finding enough funding for the project without them may be impossible.
