Olympian Nick Goepper returned home Tuesday to the cheers of family and friends. They greeted him at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport as he returned from the games at Sochi, Russia.

The 19-year-old Goepper of Lawrenceburg won bronze in the men's slopestyle skiing event.  He shared the podium with two other Americans. The gold went to Joss Christensen of Park City, Utah.  The silver went to Gus Kenworthy of Telluride, Colorado.

Goepper, who won gold in the 2014 Winter X Games, started skiing at the age of five at Perfect North Slopes.
