Two College of Mount St.Joseph Students Killed In Crash

(West Price Hill) Two students from the College of Mount St. Joseph students were killed in a head-on crash Sunday evening. Police report 22-year-old Tyler Stiles was driving a 2003 Honda Civic north in the 800 block of Covedale when he lost control, went left of center, and crashed into an on-coming Lexus. Another student, 22-year-old Michael Tepe, was a passenger in Stiles’ car. Both were killed. Police say neither was wearing a seatbelt and speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.

The driver and passenger in the Lexus were taken to U.C. Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries., 63-year-old Michael Riggs and his wife, Margaret,  were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The Traffic Unit is continuing to investigate the crash. Any witnesses are asked to call (513) 352-2514.
