West Chester Police Chief Resigns

(West Chester, Oh.)--West Chester's Police Chief Erik Niehaus has announced his resignation to become practicing attorney.

Chief Niehaus submitted his resignation letter Monday, his last day on the job will be on May 3. Hired on as Chief in 2008 Niehaus, previously spent nearly 20 years with the West Chester Police Department.

Chief Niehaus stated in his resignation letter, that he plans to become a lawyer for the Haughey and Deters law firm.
