Richmond, VA ( – After two judicial conferences which delayed the start of testimony Tuesday morning, one juror has been excused from the McDonnell Corruption Trial.  The juror, a white man, was replaced by an alternate, an African-American man.  


No explanation was given for the excusal of the juror.  The trial is now down to two alternates, with possibly three weeks remaining in the trial.


The former Governor and First Lady face 14 counts related to the gift-giving scandal.
