Richmond, VA _ It's being billed as the "Get Ready Richmond Concert" for disaster preparedness. The Mechanicsville-based E.J. Wade Foundation will host a concert September 27th at 7:00 p.m. featuring Rascal Flatts' Rewind Tour, with special guest Kellie Pickler. It will be the first concert to be held on the grounds of the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center since it opened in 2013.
E.J. Wade Foundation is a non-profit organization and is presenting the concert in an effort to "raise awareness for disaster preparedness among residents and businesses in the Central Virginia region." The plan is to use net proceeds from the concert to purchase disaster relief supplies, like gas powered generators and tractor trailer loads of bottled water.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 1. 2014 at 10: a.m.
